A Job Well Done...mostly

The creek of old water logged wood echoed out under each heavy footfall as the Tall Night Elven male slowly strode out onto the Dock overlooking the lake. Rolling his shoulder uncomfortably he stopped at the end of the old wooden planks and watched the gentle ripple of the wind across the lake, the soft light of the moon casting her enchantment upon the waters surface. Letting out a soft sigh he scratched his chin leaned against the post at his left before something caught his eye and he shoved off to crouch near the edge of the water. Tilting his head left to right he stared down at a reed that had curiously grown right at the edge of the Dock, and with little thought he reached down to yank it out of the water. In that split moment as mailed fingers touched the gently rippling surface of the water the reed rose from the water and the Elf's eyes widened in surprise as the sharp teeth holding the reed exited the water with it, a hand snapping around the back of the elf's neck and a wickedly serrated blade rising to drive right through it's throat with cruel precision. In a flash of time the blade sliced through flesh, throat, artery and curved upwards cracking through the thin shell of bone into his brain...with a strangled gurgle hot blood poured down on the Troll resting half out of the water, his long tongue licking it from his lips as he steadied the heavy body...still shaking and twitching in it's death spasms..and slowly sank back beneath the surface of the lake dragging the twitching elf with him.

The surface stilled again as the Troll slowly rose from the water several meters down the shoreline, the keys from the dead guard firmly in hand. Moving with measured steps the agile Troll made his way towards the house stopping to rest against the outside wall, ears straining to hear the conversation just inside the nearby window. Unable to understand their language he nevertheless listened to the tone of their speech, which relaxed and calm told him all he needed to know...he maintained the element of surprise. With a small sharp toothed grin he rolled to his left and crept towards the closest door, pressing an ear to it he listened for long moments before he slipped the key to the lock and opened it. Creeping inside he closed the door silently behind him and started down the long hallway, silent and undetected, the moist footprints of his passing would serve as the only notice he had entered the house. Rounding one corner he dared to peek around the edge and saw two guards, dressed similar to the one who now lay at the bottom of the lake tied to an old stump. Narrowed eyes and a frown from the shadows about summed up his mood as this presented an entirely new wrinkle to his mission...guards were not supposed to be in the home. Quickly searching the room he saw the two were on the far side of the room opposite the door he needed to get inside, the small squared room they stood in was illuminated by two candles, one near the table where they sat and played dice and another right near the narrow corridor separating them and the door. Shaking his head he leaned back against the wall, before looking out again, the two guards could be easily dispatched but not before one of them raised the alarm...and his orders were quite clear...silence and no alarm.

For long moments he crouched in the shadows the steady thump of his heartbeat thumping in his ears as his mind raced for a solution...finally settling on a plan, his fingers practiced and agile began to move before the thought even completed, sinking in his armor and producing a small wooden pipe. Drawing a piece of parchment from his armor he tossed it into his mouth and began to quietly chew, soaking the paper in spit before holding the pipe to his lips and leaning around the corner again. Sharp eyes narrowed in the lingering candlelight he took aim and with a soft THWOOSH! the wadded parchment hit the candle tip and extinguishing the light. Grinning broadly with a satisfied grunt he started down the corridor, now bathed in shadows he passed right by the guards unaware. Leaning against the door frame he slowly twisted the lock open and sank inside letting the door close behind him with practiced ease, turning to creep slowly over to the bed that lay in the center of the room. Rising above the large frame, sharp eyes scanned down at the form laying nestled under the sheets, the chest rising and falling slowly. One hand slipping to his bracer, nimble fingers withdrew a small blade tucked beneath and lowered down, flicking ever so slightly over the skin of an exposed arm..and he waited. His eyes rose to look over the room again before falling back to the body beneath the sheets that slowly began to straighten. His hands pulled the sheets back and quickly placed his hand over the mouth of the old Night Elf whose eyes twitched in terror as the muscles of his body began to betray him, a look of horrified surprise locked on his face as he stared up at the sharp toothed look of the Troll above him. Leaning down the Troll placed a single finger on the elf's lips and made the soft sound of "ssssh" as he drew a brutal, serrated looking blade from a sheath on his back. Leaning in so close the elf could smell the Troll's hot breath, the Troll spoke in slowly pronounced Darnassian...as if the phrase had been recently remembered "Your life's task is tonight honored, Vaeral "Troll Slayer", your brutality will be forever honored by your hated Foe."

With savage precision and familiar ease the serrated blade drove down into the chest of the elf, whose mouth hung open in silent horror, his screams caught in his throat as he lay paralyzed...forced to
witness...feel...every cracking stab and saw of that wicked blade as the Troll cut through his rib cage and gripped his beating heart, slashing it from his chest and holding it aloft. As the Darkness drew in...as he felt his life drift from him in spiraling waves of pain the final image...sound he ever heard was the Troll in his face again, his hissing Darnassian filling the small room "Regards from the Darkspear you son of a whore, Vol'Jin wishes you a speedy journey on your trip to hell" his words ended with the Troll spitting in his face and slinking back tucking the elf's heart into a small sack laced over one shoulder. Turning to walk towards the window he heard soft knock at the door of an adjoining room. Freezing in place he turned to see light spilling under the door , the shadow of two feet casting out onto the floor beyond. Blade in hand he quickly crept over to the door and listened hearing a feminine voice calling from the other side as the door opened abruptly washing his body in bright light. Lifting a hand to shield his eyes from the rapid shift in light, peered into the room through squinted eyes, what he saw drawing a surprised gasp from his form.

Standing with a silken robe draped about her unblemished flesh stood a young Night Elven woman, her statuesque form bathed in the smooth flickering light of lamps. Her delicate fingers clutched the robe to the smooth rise of her bosom, her head tilted softly as she appeared to be as shocked to find a half naked Troll in the room as he was to see her there. For long moments both stood in total silence, eyes locked on the other, chests rising and falling slowly as the beat of their hearts threatened to leap from their chests. After several moments her lips curved upwards slowly into a demure little smile, glowing eyes tracing down over the muscled for of the young Troll..and rising up to meet his gaze again, her fingers releasing the robe to fall at the floor around her feet. Stepping over the discarded cloth her smile grew as she stepped slowly up to the large Troll, her hand rising to gently brush against his muscled chest. Eyes widening the Young troll stared in blank shock as her body came into view, every curve every rise of her exposed skin causing his mouth to Dry and his throat to constrict, his breath catching in his throat as her fingers rested upon his skin.

A Short while later Two Trolls looked up from their resting spot as the Young Troll appeared in view running over to them and sliding down onto his knees, his chest rising and falling rapidly from the effort of the run. The older of the two Trolls, spear in hand looked back at the house in the distance before raising an eyebrow when looking back to the young Troll "What was with the light, we saw it turn on when you were inside?". Nodding slowly the other Troll piped in "I thought this was supposed to be stealthy, what the Fel happened Zau?". Zau wiped his face of the sweat that formed there, and peered back at the house a moment before turning to Face his Father and brother "I...encountered a problem", to which Zon frowned and answered "A problem?...what?". Biting his lower lip a moment Zau responded "I...uh...there was an elf girl in the other room...she saw me..she was...well you know...naked" his cheeks darkening immediately in embarrassment. Kaz eyed his brother's reaction and burst out laughing, falling onto his ass as he did "Little Brother saw his first pair of tits" slapping his young brother on the shoulder and snickering. Zon looked at his young son a moment and a small smile spread over his lips and snorted at him "What did you do?", to which Zau cleared his throat speaking in a soft voice "I..uh..took care of her". Kaz snickered loudly and watched his brothers embarrassed response, as Zon tilted his head "You did eh?..Didn't think you were in there with her that long" and turned to look back at the home. Kaz chuckled and ruffled his brothers hair "Not bad little brother, got your first kill as a man, and you got a piece of ass too" almost immediately Zau responded in a very small voice "I didn't", to which both his brother and father paused to look at him and Zon inquired "You didn't?", "No" Zau responded with a huff.

Zon eyed his son before speaking "What happened then?", at which time Zau's cheeks darkened further and he spoke...almost a whisper "Hit her with a lamp". The words hung in the air a moment before Kaz asked "You did what!?", to which Zau let out a long sigh of air and cleared his throat "I...dunno..I..I panicked when she touched me...I grabbed a lamp and hit her in the head with it and ran". The silence around that small hill lasted for a good minute before the crisp night air was split with the sounds of two Troll's hysterical roars of laughter. His head resting on his knees Zau frowned deeply at his father and brother as the pair rolled around laughing, looking rather annoyed as he sat there "Least I got the job done".
